Clothing Optional Classes

Strip Away the Noise
Join us every Saturday morning approximately an hour and a half north of Atlanta for our relaxed, all-level naked yoga classes held on a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the serene resort grounds. When the weather calls for it, we move indoors to a cozy space, ensuring your practice is comfortable rain or shine. Clothing is optional. Wear as much or as little as you like. We have mats and blocks to support your flow.

The Naked Truth
What should I bring to class?
We provide the mats and blocks, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. You will want to bring a towel or robe if you plan to be naked and sit on furniture. Standard nudist etiquette calls for a tush towel. Leave your water bottle at home though. Liquor board regulations prohibit outside liquids (even water) from coming into the gated area of the resort. We gotta play by the rules.
What should I wear?
The Yoga classes are clothing optional. As naturists we value the joy and freedom of being naked while respecting others’ individual comfort and choice.
What is our style of Yoga?
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, our sessions are approachable. These are all-level classes thus enabling any yogi to feel confident in the entry to the asana while offering the opportunity to taker it deeper as your practice grows. We love to throw in the occasional Yin class when our bodies ask for it.
What if I get excited?
It’s a common question, as many have expressed this concern. We find that once you start the practice and make the transition “inward”, focusing on the asanas and your breathing, that little tickle of excitement tends to resolve itself. We maintain a respectful, professional, safe and non-sexual atmosphere. If nature happens, just breathe through it and carry on.
Is everyone going to look like a fitness model?
No, you will see all shapes and sizes here. Naturism is not about what you look like, and it has a way of shedding one’s preconceptions once the clothes come off. We’re here to celebrate the value of the person, not the external image one exhibits in the textile world. All yoga is a personal experience that enables us to respect the truth of who we are, where we are, and what your body needs and can do in that moment. Doing yoga naked allows one to feel more deeply the sensations of one’s surrounding environment- the gentle breeze against your skin, the points of contact with your mat, and the freedom to move without the encumbrances of clothing.
When should I plan to arrive for the 11AM class?
You will need to arrive by 10am in order to check-in with the front office. Saturday mornings tend to be busy. You will also need to bring a valid government issued ID. Digital and printed copies will not work. Once checked-in and issued your day pass, you will have ample time to find our yoga space and perhaps grab a cup of coffee and acclimate to the resort.
Are there any resort rules of which I should be aware?
Cell phones are allowed but no photos inside the gated portion of the resort, which in general is the pool and activity area. As is customary with all naturist destinations, you will need a sarong, cover-up, towel, etc. for restaurant buffet lines and anytime you plant your bum.
Why don’t you publish more location details?
Since we conduct our classes within a private, clothing-optional resort, we only send the full registration packet and location details to our email subscribers. Attending our class means you’re subject to the resort rules as well. Consider it your first step in experiencing our Naked Nomads Yoga journey.
